MY FUTUFE IS NOT UP TO ME, I DO NOT EVEN HAVE A FUTURE WITHOUT YOUR HELP

Category: Site News

Sometimes we have different situations in our life where we can take the lessons out of them or we can just skip that situation and didn't even notice that God wants to do something using us.
MY FUTUFE IS NOT UP TO ME, I DO NOT EVEN HAVE A FUTURE WITHOUT YOUR HELP
I want to tell you one story that happened in my life when I was visiting the village in the north part of Thailand. This story changed my thinking and understanding about life. That day I felt not very good my temperature was a little higher than normal I was not interested in anything and I thought that I need help but at that moment I clearly understood that somebody's life depends on me.
MY FUTUFE IS NOT UP TO ME, I DO NOT EVEN HAVE A FUTURE WITHOUT YOUR HELP
It happened when I was in Thailand second time. Four days before my departure to America I have met some people from the northern part of Thailand and I went with them to visit their village, it was about eight hours drive north of Bangkok. When we got to their village my friends said that it is not a good idea to stay there and they advised me to rent a room in town six kilometers from village. They offered me motorbike so I could visit them during the day time.

The next day I drove to the village to see how they live and I can say it was very shocking for me to see how poor people live. When they did the tour for me on the streets I saw something that I will never forget in my life. When we were walking, it was very interesting for Thai kids to see the foreigner, many of them out of curiosity were running up to us, they were speaking something in Thai, but I did not understand a word what they were saying. On one of the streets we met about five children they were just playing around, one of them was a tiny little girl. She was about four years old, very dirty and not groomed. Her hair was dirty and sticky. She was in my eyes more notable than others. I asked whose child she was, people told me that she do not have any parents, nobody knows anything about her moreover that she lives in the yard of the Buddhist temple for some time. During the day she was spending time with the children that lived near. She was following the children hoping that somebody will share food and water with her. In her hands she was holding a dirty empty bottle that she was hugging like a precious toy. All she has had that day was a dirty dress and empty bottle. I gave children some money and they joyfully ran to the nearest little store to buy something. After sometime when we were coming back I saw how they were sharing food that they bought and all of them were drinking juice from one bottle. In the evening I went back to my room. That night I could not sleep. I was lying in a soft bed and was trying to get my mind together to get some sleep but that little girl was in front of my eyes. I felt so sorry for her and did not know how to help her. In the morning I went back to village, my friends were very happy to see me and they made a breakfast. All I could eat was rice, the rest of it was bugs and some other stuff that did not have any taste and was very spicy. After, I wanted to look at their school and I asked them to take me to school. When we were on the street we met the same children again. The baby that lived in the yard of the temple ran and stood in front of me looking in to my eyes without saying a word. In her small eyes I saw a lot of pain, loneliness and sadness. Her eyes were asking me for help. My eyes dimmed with tears because I understood that in two days I will go back home but she will continue living by the fence in the yard of the temple. It was very painful for me at that moment and I could not just walk away. Looking at this child I knew that her life depend on me. In my thoughts I had two choices, give her some money and walk away without knowing her future or take care of her and change the future of this baby.

I asked my friends, why nobody wants to help the baby? and they answered me that they do not have a place for her and do not have enough for their own children. I offered to help them if they will take care of the baby for me. They had a small concrete house with holes in the walls for windows. In the corners they had blankets on the concrete floor for sleeping and a small gas stove to cook rice. House had only one room for the family with three children but they took my offer. We shared with them the word of God, bought some Bibles for them and found a good church in the nearby town so they can get new friends that will help them to grow spiritually and have hope for better future.
About six months later our small girl Pim Ron was reunited with her grandmother.

Today I know that only one dollar a day can totally change child's life and future, and will bring much fruit for the kingdom of God in its time.
